About Nixbox Web Designs

Nixbox Web Designs is owned and operated by Jolyon Terwilliger. Jolyon has worked as a computer technician and web professional throughout the United States for over 22 years. Working for over 12 years in the broadcast industry as a Network and Systems Engineer and Systems Administrator, Jolyon has contracted for companies such as Fuller-Jeffrey Broadcasting, SAGA Communications and Citadel Broadcasting. For the past 10 years, Jolyon has consulted as a Software Engineer and Systems Administrator for numerous companies including L.L. Bean Outfitters e-Commerce Division, Fairchild Semiconductor and Moss Gathering Partners.

Jolyon utilizes his network of peers and associates to provide Nixbox Web Design Customers with the most comprehensive industry experience, collaborating with them on many projects. He currently divides his time between Maine and New Mexico.

Nixbox Web Design has clients in New Mexico, California and New England.

About the Site Design

The site design by Jolyon Terwilliger is influenced by the ancient Native American culture art and design, prominently featured throughout New Mexico. The majority of the glyphs used in the site design were pulled in directly from petroglyph photographs taken by Jolyon while exploring Mesa Prieta in Lyden, New Mexico. The background photograph of Lake Abiquiu and Cerro Pedernal was also taken by Jolyon.

The site was coded by hand using Dreamweaver and Photoshop and uses the jQuery Javascript Library. We are hosted by Sheepscot Valley Computer Consulting at their co-location facility in Brunswick, Maine.
